Helen's Pacific Costumers became a member of the National Costumers Association in 1951 and has participated in many conventions and competitions held each year in various cities across the nation. The convention was hosted by HPC in Portland in 2001.
HPC has won many First Place category trophies and awards throughout the years. We are proud to be the only recipient of four Grand International trophies. This award is presented to the best overall costume from the First Place winners from all categories. The winner is chosen by fellow costumers from around the world. The Grand International winner is also featured on the cover of the National Costumer Association magazine "Costumer".
